Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
We have an amazing role for one of our clients, a fast growing venture-backed Fintech who are looking for a Chief Commercial Officer to help their continued scale
Our client is a leading UK business current account that’s helped over 50,000 customers save time and money with automatic accounting, tax estimates and instant invoicing. Their mission is a simple one; to make it easier to run a small business.
As a venture-backed Fintech (including Frontline Ventures, JamJar Investments and Sage), and an early-stage start-up with ambitious plans for growth they need talented, forward thinking individuals to join them.
Details of Role
This is a key leadership role, reporting into the CEO/Founder. We expect this person to help drive the company towards its ambitious growth goals. This role is about everything to do with getting great new customers to use the app to make it easier to run their business. You would be leading the excellent Marketing, Customer Success and Sales teams, ensuring that our client gets closer and closer to their objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering new customers and revenue while continuing to make it a great place to work
Full ownership of the funnel, supporting the Sales, Marketing and Customer Success teams to ensure that they perform to the best of their abilities
Creating a strategy (and new ideas) to grow the business, prioritising effectively, and leading the team in executing the agreed plan
Working alongside the team to support project delivery
Represent, grow and develop Sales, Marketing and Customer Success as part of the Senior Management Team and at Board level
Key Pre-Requisites
Extensive experience in large scale customer acquisition (ideally for a financial technology product but that’s not mandatory)
Expertise in Marketing, Sales and quality customer service experience
Highly organised - Excellent project management skills with a focus on execution & delivery
Excellent at delivering work to deadlines and supporting a team to do the same
Able to quickly distil complex requirements into a digestible and compelling story
Ability to manipulate and interpret data to provide actionable insight
Enjoys experimenting creatively, using the available data to fill the gaps and drive decisions with imperfect or incomplete knowledge
Understanding of key business metrics and how they drive decisions, strategy and management
