Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Subject Matter Expert
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced FP&A Subject Matter Expert to join our client's Customer Success team across all of their EMEA territories.

They have been at the forefront of Anaplans' growth in Europe for the past decade and are continuing to grow. Whilst the role is based in the UK, there is potential to work with clients across Europe also.

You will be working with customers to provide advice and guidance on their end-to-end FP&A process. You will be able to share best practice with customers based on your experience to ensure that their to-be process is efficient, effective and meets the requirements of the customer.
Key Responsibilities
Working closely with customers to understand and clearly define their business planning and reporting requirements
Supporting customers to introduce efficient ways of working to include improved process and operating models
Creating plans for and supporting system implementation, testing, and training
Creating and managing strong relationship with customers as part of the engagement
Writing high quality customer documentation
For projects which include an Anaplan implementation, ensuring the implementation team creates models which align to required solution, providing additional guidance where required.
Key Pre-Requisites
Experience in FP&A projects which are part of a finance transformation or digital finance programme (a minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting and/or in industry)
Comfortable engaging with Senior Finance stakeholders
Understanding of agile development concepts, including the use of design thinking and prototyping to accelerate delivery
A deep understanding of customer planning, forecasting, and reporting processes
An excellent understanding of financial accounting fundamentals, such as Income Statement, Balance Sheet and Cash Flow statements
Writing clearly structured project documentation such as requirements specification or proposals
A good understanding of typical data sources (such as ERP General Ledgers)
Experience on solution implementation including supporting business case, functional design, fit/gap analysis and program management
Experience of finance business process re-engineering including change management in the CFO organisation
