Head of Sales

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Head of Sales to join a fast growing, ambitious young company operating in the Learning & Development space.

Our client empowers their employees to supercharge their career and life, to be happier and more fulfilled.

They are a purpose driven business in the $360 billion Learning & Development space and tackling the $7 trillion employee engagement challenge by democratising professional coaching.

Their B2B solution enables employers to provide their employees with access to their very own professional coach via an app. They are building additional tools to become the go-to ecosystem for employees to develop professionally.

Their clients tend to be blue chip and include the likes of Blackstone, General Atlantic, EQT. They have a high renewal rate and a user NPS score of 72. The team is experienced and highly professional, which means that you will also need a work ethic suited to self-sufficiency, ownership and strategy. You should be excited about working in an inclusive greenfield environment with ambitious goals.


About the role

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for:

· Owning a big (but realistic) revenue target

· Accelerating the revenue growth through strategy, sales and sales leadership

· Leading outsourced SDRs with the objective of building in-house capabilities

· Building the team

· Impacting product features through feedback to product team

· Fine tuning the sales playbook taking the sales strategy to the next level

· Forecasting pipeline and new revenue accurately and ultimately closing new customers

· Owning the end-to-end sales process to drive up conversion rates across the pipeline

· Getting involved with the important deals to see them over the line

Key Requirements – Experience & Skills

· 5+ years of experience in B2B SaaS Sales

· 2+ years of experience as Sales leader/manager

· Demonstrable history of consistently achieving new business sales targets (at least £1m per year).

· Experience in leadership, hiring, managing and mentoring others

· Enjoy getting on Zoom with prospects and seeing a deal over the line

· Knowledge of which sales processes work and which don’t

· You will have worked with marketing teams to generate and handle the right inbound leads

· You will have worked with customer success teams to spot and leverage up-sell opportunities

· Experience selling to HR is a plus

· A self-starter, committed to personal growth, willing to take risks

· Process oriented and goal driven

· Experience working within start-up or scale-up teams

· Entrepreneurial spirit, passionate about what you do
